Leading Futures Innovation Conference
Leading Futures is an Innovation Conference and Case Competition run by students from the ESADE MBA. The main event takes place at ESADE’s campus in Barcelona, and explores the theme of disruptive innovation through the lens of a given industry… this year it was Smart Cities.
Leading Futures 2019 was sponsored by Technology and Digital Transformation Consultancy: Minsait; and leading MBA school: ESADE University, and was also supported by various other partner companies.
The event began on February 28th, where the six finalist case competitor teams, from Cranfield University; IE Business School; HEC Paris; and ESADE Business School, came to partake in a day of learning and training with partner companies.
Most notable partners were Innovation Consultancy Insitum, who gave our finalists a Business Model Workshop, and helped them think about their own venture through the perspective of the business model canvas; and also VC and Accelerator InnoEnergy, who put our finalists through their paces by putting their business model and pitch through a “stress test” that delivered invaluable advice to our teams before the big day.
On March 1st, attendees enjoy workshops, keynotes and panel discussions along the theme of Smart Cities and Innovation, alongside case competition finalist pitches and networking coffees, drinks and lunch.
